A challenging domestic violence partner visa case

Our client approached us seeking assistance with his partner visa application after his relationship ended due to domestic violence. This case was particularly challenging because they did not have visible signs of abuse, such as scars or bruising. To address this, we obtained medical and psychological reports, prepared detailed submissions, and drafted a statutory declaration. 

As a result of our efforts, the individual was granted Permanent Residency on 12 April 2024. The Department had requested additional information concerning domestic violence on 27 March 2024. We got him Permanent Residency in less than a month.
