Mariam Hassan

Mariam Hassan is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in migration law. She studied at Monash University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Law (LLB) with Honours in July 2023. Following her undergraduate studies, Mariam undertook her Practical Legal Training (PLT) at the prestigious Leo Cussen Centre for Law, further honing her skills and preparing for a career in legal practice.

Mariam's passion for migration law stems from her commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and their families. She finds fulfillment in working within an area of law that has a profound impact on people's lives, helping them navigate the complexities of immigration processes and achieve their dreams of building a better future. 

One of the aspects Mariam values most about her work is the opportunity to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds. This exposure provides her with a unique perspective on the myriad of issues that arise in the context of immigration. 

In her spare time, Mariam is committed to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. She enjoys going to the gym, where she engages in various fitness activities to stay in shape. Additionally, she loves going for frequent walks, setting a personal goal of reaching 10,000 steps each day. These activities not only contribute to her physical well-being but also provide her with a sense of balance and relaxation outside of her demanding professional life.
