The Aged Parent Visa Subclass 804 is defined as a permanent visa option available to pension-aged parents for Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens staying in Australia. Subclass 804 Aged Parent visa costs
There are two main costs associated with a subclass 804 visa

Department fees
The Department of Home Affairs does not charge the sponsor any fee to sponsor the applicant. However, the sponsor must agree to financially support the applicant in their first 2 years in Australia. As of 1 July 2023, the subclass 804 Aged Parent visa application fees is $4,990 for the first instalment. This cost is payable at the time of lodgement. The second instalment is currently $2,065 which must be paid once the Department of Home Affairs issues a request.
